We also offer and coordinate educational conferences for schools, churches, and organizations. “Man Up!” and “Urban Flowers”© – ASA’s unique gender-specific boys and girls empowerment conferences - are part of our series of success offerings. ASA Educational Services is focused on creating the Parent Champion™ who is committed to winning and academic achievement for their children. Parents who have participated in ASA Educational Services’ programs demonstrate this commitment by appropriate actions and choices regarding their child’s education. When a winning education and college-going become the priority, the use of time and financial choices are guided by that motivation. ASA Educational Services addresses the crisis and overall problems of the academic achievement gap. Our invaluable services help compensate for the growing number of educational institutions with inadequate academic services and opportunities for students, insufficient parent participation, and the cultural-disconnect facing urban educators. With an education center centrally located in East Oakland, the majority of ASA Educational Services' clients reign from all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Organizations throughout the state and across the country also rely on ASA Educational Services. Services are provided directly at our location or at client locations. 
After more than 15 years of developing cutting-edge approaches to improve educational outcomes, Tovi Scruggs, M.Ed founded ASA Educational Services. ASA Educational Services serves educators, parents and youth in Grades 6 – 12. Tovi C. Scruggs, M.Ed. is a visionary educational leader and advocate with a passion for improving lives. Her pioneering work inspires parents, teachers, and school administrators to partner to create academic success for students of color so they are prepared for college. Inspiring deep, conscious change is her specialty. Ms. Scruggs conducts innovative workshops to teach parents how to be effective school partners and academic champions for their children. Parents who work with Ms. Scruggs embrace a new vision for their child’s academic future that culminates in college graduation.
